Germany - \"Taken By A Stranger\" performed by Lena
She\'s got a knuckle in her eye
He knows her cat call
Can\'t escape from telling lies I heard her saying
Hey mind if I take this chair
Hey mind if i take this chair
He drops a pause
She looks annoyed
But she\'s so mean he thinks she has to be the one
Taken by a stranger
Stranger things are starting to begin
Lured into the danger
Trip me up and spin me round again
You got some coffee on your collar
And you forgot to comb your hair
But I can\'t wait till I do better
You\'re here and I don\'t care
I can\'t help it if you like it
Cause I won\'t be here tomorrow
No one ever told you that you wouldn\'t be rejected
Taken by a stranger
Stranger things are starting to begin
Lured into the danger
(danger is a risky business)
Trip me up and spin me round again
Dip dip dada dada da
Dip dip dada dada da
Uh uh uh uh
Nah nah nah nah nah
Put the blindfold on his eyes
She saw him peek through
Can\'t imagine her disguise
I heard her saying
Hey mind if I take this chair
Yeah, see if I care
Taken by a stranger
Stranger things are starting to begin
Lured into the danger
(danger is a risky business)
Trip me up and spin me round again.
Biography
If you\'re a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest, you\'ll certainly recognise Germany\'s act for 2011 - because Lena swept to victory in the 2010 Eurovision, performing her catchy winning song \"Satellite\" on stage in Oslo.
Lena
Since her triumph in Oslo, 19 year-old Lena\'s life has changed completely. \"Satellite\" became a Europe-wide chart hit, hitting the number 1 spot in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland, the Top 5 in Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland and the Netherlands, and even breaking into the Top 30 in the UK Charts.
In a very bold move, Lena decided that in 2011 she would try to defend her Eurovision crown. She presented the 12 songs from her second studio album, \"Good News\", to the German public to vote on. Eventually it was decided that \"Taken By A Stranger\", a quirky blend of pop and electro with a sinister undertone, would be the song she\'ll sing on stage in Dusseldorf. Can Lena be the first ever Eurovision act to win the contest in consecutive years? We\'ll find out in May 2011...
